Spring Egg Flower


Method:

1. Rinse the vegetables. Cut the tips of both ends. By using the Click Series wide head, make some vegetable strips and arrange the slices in the Micro Healthy Delight base. Pour 1 tbsp / 15 ml water, cover and cook in the microwave oven 5 min. 900 watts.

2. Beat the eggs and the remaining water in the Quick Shake.

3. Pour the egg mixture over the precooked vegetables, from the outside up to the center.
4. Cover and cook in the microwave 5 min. 360 watts.
5. Let stand 5 min. before eating or serving cold with a green salad

Ingredients (2 Persons)

• 1 small yellow baby marrow
• 1 small green baby marrow
• 1 small carrot
• 1 tbsp (15 ml) water + 2 tbsp (30ml) water
• 3 eggs
• 1 spring of fresh thyme

Guilt-Free Cheescake with Annique Rooibos Lifestyle Shake

Method:

Crust
Whip the egg whites until frothy and add the nuts. Mix well and press into the base of a well-buttered, loose-bottom pan, 22cm in diameter.

Filling
Combine all the ingredients, and ladle spoonfuls of it into the baking pan. bake for 45-60 minutes, until the filling has set. Leave to cool in the oven.Sprinkle cocoa powder and dark chocolate shavings on top for a final touch! Enjoy with a cup of Annique Rooibos tea!

Ingredients

2 egg whites
200g pecan nuts, finely chopped
3 eggs
3 tubs (250g) cream cheese
125ml fresh cream
60-90ml xylitol or stevia sweetener
120ml Vanilla Rooibos Lifestyle Shake
Cocoa powder and dark chocolate shavings for decorating (optional)

Babotie Pancakes

Method:

1. For the bobotie mince, heat the oil in a frying pan and add the onions. Fry for 1 minute to soften.

2. In a That’s a Bowl mix the mince, curry powder, salt and pepper and turmeric. Add to the onions and brown for 5 minutes.

3. Add the chutney and water and cook for another 10 minutes. Adjust seasoning and set aside.

4. For the pancakes, grease a non-stick pan with oil.

5. Add the flour, milk, egg and salt to a Quick Shake and shake well to form a batter.

6. Pour some batter into the pan, swirl and cook for 2 minutes on each side.

7. Spoon bobotie mince into the pancakes, roll and place on a serving plate. Scatter with fresh herbs and grated cheese before serving. 

Ingredients (6 Persons)

For the bobotie mince filling:

1 tbsp (15ml) oil

1 onion, chopped

1/2 tsp (2,5ml) curry powder

1/2 tsp (2,5ml) turmeric

500g mince

Salt & pepper

2 tbsp (30ml) chutney

4 tbsp (60ml) water

Grated cheese for serving

 

For the pancakes:

1 cup (250ml) cake flour

1 cup (250ml) milk

1 egg

A pinch of salt

1. For the apple pie filling, heat the butter in a non-stick pan.
Add the butter and brown sugar and melt over medium high heat.
2. Add the apples and cook for 5 minutes. Add the cornflour and mix, followed by the water. Stir well.
3. Add the cinnamon and cook for a further 5 minutes. Set aside.
4. For the pancakes, place the egg, melted butter and milk in the Quick Shake (500ml), and shake for 1-2 minutes.
5. Sift the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into the That’s a Bowl (3 L). Pour the Quick Shake (500ml) mixture into the That’s a Bowl (3L) and mix until a smooth batter forms.
6. Heat some butter in a non-stick pan and pour some batter into the pan (2-3 flapjacks worth). Flip when bubbles form on the sides of the flapjacks and cook for a further 1 minute.
7. Stack the flapjacks onto a serving plate, top with apple pie filling and serve with freshly whipped cream.

Ingredients (6 Persons)

FOR THE APPLE PIE FILLING:
2 tbsp (30ml) butter
1/2 cup (125ml) brown sugar
4 apples, peeled, cored & thinly sliced
1 tbsp (15ml) cornflour
4 tbsp (60ml) water
1/2 tsp (2.5ml) ground cinnamon


FOR THE FLAPJACKS:
1 cup (250ml) cake flour
1 egg
2 tbsp (30ml) sugar
1 tbsp 15ml) butter, melted
2 tsp (10ml) baking powder
A pinch of salt
1 cup (125ml) milk
Fresh cream, to serve
